  • Peter Wilson: First match of the season was very close with only 2 points in it at the end of the night. MLTC had to bring in a late substitution (Roanna George) due to late team injury. Likewise St Budeaux had to play injured player, Kate Gibbons to be able to fulfil the match. Great hitting by all players on a sunny evening with the number 1 pairs of both clubs dominating play but it was St Budeaux who just had the edge who won overall with the extra 2 points.
