Peter Wilson: In both their matches Jenny and Annie dominated at the start leading 3-0 in their first match and 4-0 in their second. However both Plympton couples found their rhythm each taking the next 6 games to win the set. Against Helen and Janet, Jenny and Annie regained control to take the second set and the tie break to win the match. They were unable to repeat this against Alison and Fiona who took the second set only conceding one more game. In mixed fortunes Rachel and Di lost to Alison and Fiona in a match which felt much closer than the score reflected, but dominated in the match against Helen and Janet. all round a fun and friendly match in which Plympton just managed to take the overall win.
